So have you finished collecting 15 friends with 100 friendship points for country story dog quest ? Not yet ? Tired to sending gift that worth 10 friend points every day ? Okay if you have give up, you can try this country story dog cheat 
You’ll get your dog in a minute.
Some tools you’ll need :
1) Cheat Engine 5.5
2) Firefox
3) FlashPlayer 9.0 or 10.0
1. First, make sure you are level 8
2. Open Cheat Engine 5.5 and choose as process: FireFox.exe or Iexplorer
3. Tick HEX, Choose 8 bytes, (Also Scan Read Only Memory)
4. Scan 4E8B10438B104389
5. Right click and Disassemble
6. On the first like right click “Mov [ebx+10], eax and click “Change register at this location”
7. Tick EAX and enter “f” at the value.
8. Open country story and click on quest and you will see your dog

I got the dog after this instructions. (great! THANKS) Do I need to feed the dog? I cannot see any option to do that, I can take care of my chick, but I cannot do anything to the dog. Is that correct?

Yes, the dog is helping to avoid your farm to be robbed, but the dog not designed to catch everyone 100%
And you do not have to feed it

I got it to work by after entering the cheat go and water something or do an action then it should say complete. Also after it saved I had to refresh for the dog to appear.

It won’t work for me… I tried it with firefox and i.e. and i have flash player 10. I’d really like to get that dog. No chance of having 15 friends so i can only do it through your cheat…

Nyah!! I’ve tried this like ten times with no such luck! I’ve installed flash, downloaded the cheat engine, followed the directions to a T! NO DOG! (and yes, I’ve refreshed…multiple times. -_-))

maybe this cheat is already fixed. i tried it just last week i think and it worked. then just last night, i tried it using my friend’s account, coz she wants it too, but it didnt worked. i tried it agn and nothing happened. and tried it just now, and agn. nothing happened. and much to my dismay, as i was remember, the country story had their maintenance yesterday. and i think they fixed this bug.

I’m unable to downgrade my flash player from 10 to 9. I’m using flash player 10 and I tried again and again but there’s no dog. Oh well… perhaps this bug has really been fixed. This is too bad. By the way, if anyone happens to get a dog thru cheat engine 5.5 after October 1, 2009, please update it on here. Just wanna make sure if Country Story fix this bug for sure. Thx.

I was unsuccessful with Cheat Engine 5.5. But I got the dog anyway, wew!! Very happy now! I managed to get 15 friends w/100 F/P. Had to loose about 6000 coins because I lost some of my items/gifts when I sent them. But I got the dog, will try to earn more coins and buy the items later.

you disassemble the address, right click on the address you’ve found and click “disassemble this memory region”

right click on the address you that you found, and choose the 2nd option – Dissamble this memory region
and follow the next step

no, you don’t need 15 friends for this cheat but you need to reach lv 8 to open the dog quest. Hmm.. but if you follow it step by step it should be there, did you see the quest finished or not ?

but your quest was finished right ? in my opinion your friends need to clear their cache in order to see your dog. Because my friends can see mine

It didn’t work even though I followed all the steps. In fact, when I click on quest right now, all it shows is the message “let me tell you something…if you want the dog..”blah blah blah. And at the top it says “improv 0/15″ and all I could click is “back”; couldn’t even accept the quest anymore..it’s all weird.

Here’s the problem, when I’m done scanning, the cheat engine says that it found one address. But the bar shows nothing.

It took a while, but I found a video someone made using this cheat! As it turns out, I was putting the HEX code in the wrong place; I’d been splitting it up into the two smaller text boxes.

You don’t have to hack this quest anymore since the requirement had been changed to 25 gifts that cost over 1000 to anyone. I don’t know if this was a Thanksgiving special but I got the dog this way without cheating.
