Symbol Guide

Action To Do

This tells us how many of each vegetable the quest is asking us to collect. Either by growing our own, or by stealing from a friends farm. The crops have to be in your inventory to count towards the total, they cannot be sold as this will reset the value back to zero.

This is asking you to plough a certain number of times

Some Quest may ask us to fertilize a number of our crops.

This symbol means we are being asked to plant a certain number of seed.

Other quest ask us to collect sticks and stones. These can be found for free on friends farms.

This is asking us to assign friends to look after our crops. This can be completed by clicking on the friendship icon, under the mailbox. From the ‘Get Farmer Help’ screen, friends can be assigned to look after crops. Choose the friend you wish to help you out, click ‘Take Care of my Crops’, then assign your friend to look after 1 plot of land. You will have to repeat this however many times the quest is asking you to. So in this case, we would have to assign 6 friends to 6 plots of land.
This symbol is different in Man’s best friend quest.

The watering icon is asking us to water our friends dry plots of land. Not our own. There must be either seeds or growing crops for this to work. This quest cannot be completed by watering full grown crops or dry land with nothing planted. The plots have to be lighter in colour than normal, you can see this in Country Story Frequently Ask Question.

Rewards

Food is given as a reward for several quest.

Fertilizers are also given in a lot of quest.

This tells us the amount of coins we get for completing a quest.

These are the green points or ‘experience points’ you get for completing each quest. They are required in order to ‘level up’.

Animals and livestock are occasionally given as rewars to quest.

- Sought And Pepper

- Totally radish
Well, looks like you’ve made a good start on white radishes, so how about we do this for real and collect another 700?

- Cornucopia
We’re making head on corn, nice job. Let’s get another 224 collected to keep things moving.

- Man’s best friend
Let me tell ya sum’thin. If ya have 15 friends with 100 friend points, I’ll give ya a dog.

Tips : This quest is the one that mos people struggle with. The quest requires you to get 100 friendship points with 15 of your friends. Your friendship points can be seen by clicking the friendship icon underneath the mailbox.
This is the technique i used making it possible to achieve the dog within 3 days of playing.
1. Select 15 friends you will use, everybody should have 75 F/P when you start to play. Write the names of these people down to keep a note. People you know who play a lot – ie the top of your leaderboard are more likely to return the item sooner.
2. Send each of them an item that is worth 10 F/P. You are allowed to earn a maximum of 10 with each person, per day. When this is returned, give them a ‘tick’ by their name. Try to get all 15 lots of items back in the same day- If you can’t afford all 15 at once you will need to wait for people to return something before sending it on to somebody else. This should then give you 85 F/P.
3. Repeat this foe 2 days – with the same 15 people, until you have 3 ticks next to their names – meaning you have 100 F/P with that person, and they have returned all your items.

(include a note with the item you send – “For F/P please return – thanks”)

I would say the cheapest way to do this quest would be to add temp friends for the sticks and stones / milk so you have a stock of items to use. You can see what items that are worth 10 F/P in Country Story Frequently Ask Question.

Quest Tips : You can plan ahead for the chicken quest by ensuring you save enough sticks and stones for this level, and also try get hold of some chicken wheat, although you cannot unlock the seeds until level 8 also.
