How does farmville fertilizer work ?
Simple 
Randomly selected users will receive 5 Bags of Fertilizer (super grow), per neighbor, per day.
Those players can then use the fertilizer on crops on their neighbors‘ farms.
How to get farmville fertilizer ?
Fertilizer bags are rewarded when you complete a friend mission (pulling weeds, chasing crows, etc.) and removed when you visit another neighbors farm.
Once a crop has been fertilized, it will appear bigger than normal crops and sparkle.
Yeah a sparkle crops
But don’t let them wither, fertilized crops reward experience points when harvested!
There’s a new ribbon for fertilizing your friends crops:
New Ribbon – Crop Whisperer Ribbon
Yellow Ribbon: Fertilize 100 neighbor crops.
So remember :
1. Visit a neighbors farm
2. help your neighbor (Scare away Crows, Gophers, Rake Leaves, etc)
3. Farmville will randomly determine whether or not you’ll receive the bags of fertilizer.
a. If you did not receive the fertilizer, try to visit another neighbor and start help again
b. If you did receive fertilizer, you’ll notice a small White and Blue bag on the bottom left hand side of the window, in the place of the fuel tank.
The Super Grow bag has a small “x5″ next to it, indicating that you have 5 bags
4. Click on your neighbors crop to fertilize it.
Each bag will fertilize a single ‘plot’. And it will give you 2 XP for fertilizing each plot.
Once fertilized, the crop will sparkle
see the difference ? it’s bigger and sparkle

Update :
Now, everyone should have the ability to fertilize your neighbors’ farms. Last week was a beta (testing) so only a random group of users could fertilize. You can fertilize up to 5 plots per neighbor. You cannot fertilize farms with no crop planted or withered crops.
Here’s the official statement :
“Hello Farmers! We previewed the Fertilizer feature to a few of our users last week and now it’s time for everyone to join the fun! You can earn additional Coins and Experience for lending your neighbors a helping hand. Go ahead! Give Fertilizer a try and surprise your neighbors with some jumbo crops!”

hum what if for example 1.i visited Latick’s farm and i recieve fertiliz, the small blue will just appear in the screen? even if im still in Latick’s farm? 2. if i recieve fertilize can i go to another farm w/o fertilizing the previous farm where i recieve the fertilize?

Then marel asks:if i recieve fertilize can i go to another farm w/o fertilizing the previous farm where i recieve the fertilize?
Then admin says: yes you can
Can anyone tell me if I can use one dose fertilizer at each farm and use the other four, at four other farms, or do I have to use them all at one farm or else they are gone?

Question> 1.if i fertilize my neighbor should i nid to harvest my neighbor? or i will just waiting to harvest his/her farm to recieve reward? 2.what if i recieve fertilize in Laticka’s farm and her crops is wither or she has nothing to waiting to harvest, how does it work?

for the past three days I’ve been receiving fertilizer each time i help my first friend.
i’ve also been able to fertilize 5 plots for each neighbor.
not sure if this is a glitch but I received the first ribbon in no time!

I guess I am the lucky one. Because the first night the fertilizer was out I received 2 xp’s per plot that I fertilized. I have already received my white ribbon for crop whisperer. I love it…

This is crap. You can visit a hundred farms and not get a bag and still required 100 plots for a yellow ribbon. That means the blue ribbon is impossibe. I give up.

Why even bother playing, when it’s just a few players that could use the fertilizers!!! My crops have been fertilized a couple of times, but I havn’t received that fertilizer bags yet and I don’t think I’m going to get them either, because it’s just a testgroup that have got them so far. Zynga shouldn’d let go of a new ribbon if it isn’t ready yet, everyone wants to use it but just a few have found it yet and thats not fair. Farmville gets moore and moore boring to play for every silly thing Zynga comes up whith!!!

my friends fertilized my farm and i can see the sparkling but there is no difference in the size and in the percentage and im growing peas so whats the problem from the peas or ? please answer thanks

Hey there,
I’m really hoping someone has the answer for this..
I have 4-5 plots of land (in random places) where each time I go to plant a new crop they wither right away. I’ve tried different types of plants/crops and each just wither immediately!!
Any ideas why this happened?
(Oh – and there were a FEW withered crops on that section when I plowed them this morning…maybe they were fertilized? And now won’t let anything grow on them? UGH!!)

Its not done randomly, you will get fertilizer if you help a freind who has growing crops on their farm. You have to use the bags on the farm you got them from or you will loose them.

it was a bug. Had to delete it using the red delete tool, then replowed. After that everything was OK. Hope this helps.

I have compared my crops from fertilized and not fertilized, there is absolutly ZERO difference in growing time..

the past 2 days, everytime I harvest crops which have been fertilized by a friend, i don’t get any coins or mastery, nothing. help!!! why is this happening?

Usually when I visit friends farms it doesn’t ask me to do chores or fertilize their crops? It used to work well. What’s going on? Is the server overloaded? What do I have to do to be able to fertilize my neighbors crops?
